"The world is definitely warning us," according to experts. Signals of changing climate, including increasing trends in temperature, sea level rise, extreme climate occurrences are already evident in the Philippines. And as the warming continues, the outcome will become more disastrous. Climate change will come water deficiency and reduction of agricultural productivity and food security. Our health will be at risk by heart stress and increase chances of exposure to transmittable infections. Those living in low lying coastal areas may become climate evacuee as their houses are demolish. And tourism, an important source of revenue for many, will decline.
Climate change could have a destructive impact in the Philippines, leading to extensive obliteration of the country's environment. Typhoon Ondoy in Metro Manila, a tropical storm in which thousands of residents fled from their houses to the neighboring provinces. The immense floods that engulfed the Philippine capital were an alarming reminder of the need to seriously report climate change, experts said that "lives of millions were in trouble."

It was September 26,2009 and Super typhoon Ondoy was raging around Metro Manila and whole Luzon region. Although the other part of the country experienced the rain shower of the typhoon. According to the NDCC (National Disaster Coordinating Council) the death toll was 464 and may still go higher. Thirty-seven(37) people are still reported missing and almost 4 million people had been affected of the said typhoon. Agricultural, industrial and infrastructure sectors had also been affected. The agricultural sector is much damaged where farmers keep worrying because of their planted crops were washed out of the flood. In connection with this, people should also worry because it is where we get our daily food.
Every night, during the typhoon Ondoy, it is only the coverage of the whole news. Pictures of people who lost their houses and much pain is their love ones were flashed on TV screens. Poor or rich have no escape from this phenomena. As I watched the news, I feel pity for them, seeing those people needing our help. It could really touch ones heart and I couldn't imagine if that will happen to my life. Perseverance, trust and  bravery should be the attitude that will penetrate in this kind of happenings. Prayer is the strongest shield one must bear along with. This tragedy is just newly for those places which is not been affected for how many years ago. The typhoon leave a severe damage to the country. Even though it left already but there were still places have been flooded. The government estimated that it may last until December.
Last year, it is been news in the TV that there were more than 20 typhoons will hit in the country. Due to climate change and global warming, we don't know the exact time for El Niño and La Niña. The weather  nowadays couldn't be able to understand. Unlike the previous years ago, there is a month for long drought or we may call it summer time but summer today is sometimes rainy. The global warming and climate change is now slowly experiencing of the whole world. Floods there, earthquakes here, landslides over there. These tragedy are brought and cause by global warming and climate change. Human will be punished for we are the creator of this tragedy. It is cause by improper disposal of garbage, black smoke of factories and vehicles, cutting of trees and etc. The government noticed this illegal activities and now they are controlling of zero garbage and others that will lead into a big catastrophe.
This image will take a part as a lesson to all human beings. If we will tolerate it, this might happen again in the nearer future. This is now the time for an immediate action. We will not waste the time we had left in this world. "If you want change, be the change you want to see." Quoted from Mahatma Gandhi.
